We're a community-driven football club based in Replot, a village in the Kvarken Archipelago, on the West Coast of Finland.
Replot Rovers rf registered as a non-profit organisation in 2026. The idea was to spend the first 12 months interacting with people and engaging the local community through small events, meet-ups and initiatives, whilst gradually building towards a community-driven football club. Replot Rovers FC will compete in the national football league system, but exists to serve a greater purpose - connection & belonging.

Lee, Lars & Benny have all been active in the local football scene as players and coaches. The conversation began years before when they started to feel that there was something missing in local amateur football. Coming from England, Denmark and Germany respectively, they were used to an abundance of community-run clubs that offered that “2nd home” feeling, with a focus on socialisation and inclusion - and so the seed was planted.
Lars tells how he would drive past Replot Sportsplan for years wondering why there wasn’t an active senior team. The pitch was beautiful, almost untouched. The community was solid and there was a natural connection to the city folk who have summer cottages out in the Kvarken Archipelago. The opportunity was just too good to miss. On a phone call at the end of 2025, Lars jokingly suggested the name, Replot Rovers FC, and after a brief moment of silent consideration, they knew there was no turning back.
The club acts professionally and competitively when it comes to football, with big ambitions, but there will be no compromise for the club’s values in well-being, connection, inclusion and creating a sense of belonging for everyone involved. We aim for togetherness on and off the pitch and recognise that cherishing these values will only lead to success in what promises to be an exciting future ahead.
Our story is short for now, but one that will continue to grow - we hope to become an example of how football can offer so many positive skills, feelings and health benefits, to so many people, whoever and wherever you are.
COME ON YOUR ROVERS!
